Stress is a major part of everyone’s day-to-day life. Certain activities we do, or situations going on around us are not always within our control, and sometimes we end up hurting the ones we were intending to protect in the first place. Reading through the book, it made me realize that in the end it would always be about how much you value yourself that would help you get through these struggles. By taking care of yourself, you ensure the happiness of those around you – providing your family a stress-free environment. The book has given me a lot of different ideas to guide me – like a simple exercise before I get out of bed, or writing down a list of accomplishments to make myself feel proud. All of us really do need some time for our selves and evaluate the things we do and why we do them – to remind ourselves of how important it is to take care of our own body, because whatever happens to us affects the people around us too. The book reminds us that our faith in God, believing that He always provides, will guide us that no matter how complicated a situation might look, each of us can get through it.
